Focal Scripture: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 KJV.
Purpose:
- To bring Calvary’s men into a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ and each other through fellowship and
- To unite men in Bible Study, prayer, ministry, community outreach and
- To encourage men to increase their accountability and to help further Calvary Baptist Church’s overall vision of “Transforming the Community for Christ”.
- To offer men a supportive environment that helps them to grow spiritually, and provides them opportunities to use their individual gifts for the bettement of the church, their family and the
What we do: Sponsor and plan annual events: Father’s Day breakfast, Church picnic, Pre-Men’s Day Gospel Musical and Men’s Day Service. Men are also involved in Bible Study, the monthly Community Dinner and Men’s Ensemble ministries.
When we meet: Meetings are called as needed for planning activities. No monthly meetings are held. Bible study is held with Pastor Walton annually. Men’s Ensemble rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Calvary.
Who can join: Any adult male member of Calvary Baptist Church can join one or all parts of the ministry/activities.
