Focal Scripture: “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10 NIV.
Purpose: To care for and assist the needs of the overall congregation. To show competence and dedication in serving the Lord and his people through providing spiritual care, instruction in the faith, and acts of love under the spiritual guidance of the Pastor and the Deacons as we promote spiritual growth in the church.
What we do: Support the Pastor and the vision of the church. Give counsel and serve as role models for the young ladies of the church and the community. Oversee the dressing of Baptism candidates and keep an account of the use and return of laundered Baptism attire. Take care of the Communion cloths, clean, prepare, and restore the utensils used after each Communion Service.
When we meet: Immediately after the E-5 Ministry meeting the Saturday before the first Sunday of each month at Calvary at 10:00 a.m.
Who can join: Women are nominatedforthese positions. The qualifications for membership shall conform to the standards set forth in the Bylaws of Calvary Baptist Church of Milwaukee, Inc.
